Be prepared

Make sure all your belongings are packed before our moving truck arrives. This saves time and ensures that the moving process goes smoothly.

Select what you take with you

While packing, you can decide what you want to bring. Try to get rid of items you no longer need or have not used for a long time. This saves space and costs, since transportation is charged per cubic meter.

Use sturdy, uniform boxes

Choose sturdy, uniform moving boxes. This makes loading and unloading easier and takes up less space, saving you costs.

Fill the boxes

Fill boxes that are not completely filled with bubble wrap or linens to prevent the contents from shifting or being damaged in transit.

Distribute the weight

Place heavier items at the bottom of the boxes and lighter items on top for stable distribution.

Keep the boxes manageable

Make sure the boxes are no heavier than about 20 kg. This makes stacking and moving easier.

Seal the boxes tightly

Use sturdy tape to properly seal and protect all boxes.

Protect fragile crockery

Wrap glassware, cups and plates separately in paper, such as newsprint.

Disassemble large furniture

Take apart large pieces of furniture, such as closets and beds, as they often cannot be transported in one piece.

Avoid hazardous substances

Leave liquids, flammable and highly flammable materials, as temperature and pressure differences can cause leakage or even explosions. If you do want to move these materials, please inform our driver, who is experienced in minimizing risk.

Point out valuable items

Make your mover aware of valuable paintings, artifacts and mirrors.

Reuse original packaging

Pack valuable electronic devices in their original packaging, if available.

Prepare garden tools and other equipment for transport

Remove fuel from garden tools and other equipment with internal combustion engines, and disconnect batteries or accumulators.
